As a Technology Risk professional, you will assess & address client issues such as business performance variability, cybersecurity risk management, cybersecurity resilience, application security integrity, and IT risk management. You will belong to a network of specialists helping our clients transform risk functions and support cybersecurity assurance solutions that enable risk management and governance.
Theopportunity
As our Technology Risk practice expands, we seek a highly motivated Manager focused on cybersecurity risk, controls, and technology enablement to manage client engagement teams, deliver professional services, and manage business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Provide technical and project leadership to team members, build relationships with clients, deliver quality client services, and drive high‑value work products within expected time frames and budget.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure stakeholders stay informed about progress and outcomes.
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team‑oriented work environment, counsel and mentor junior consultants.
- Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry trends to identify engagement and client service issues; communicate findings through written correspondence and verbal presentations.
- Foster relationships with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems, developing and improving security at procedural and technology levels.
- Assist with cultivating and managing business development opportunities; understand EY and its service lines and actively assess or present ways to serve clients.
- Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge; rapidly assimilate new knowledge.
You will leverage your proven track record of technologies and cybersecurity experience and strong project management skills to lead and motivate client engagement teams. You will provide technical leadership in the assessment, design, and implementation of controls, security, and cybersecurity risk solutions.
To qualify for the role, you must have- A bachelor’s or master’s degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity risk management, core cybersecurity fundamentals, and internal controls.
- Strong project management and client service skills.
- Excellent leadership and teaming skills, ability to train, coach, and manage staff.
- Willingness to travel (estimated 50%); valid driver’s license in the US and a valid passport; ability to travel internationally.
- Ability to assess cybersecurity risk management programs; experience with NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800‑53, ISO 27001, SANS CSC or other relevant frameworks.
- Industry related certification required (e.g., CISSP, CISA, or other security certifications); non‑certified hires must become certified within 1 year from hire date.
- Passionate leaders with strong vision, staying on top of cybersecurity trends and leading practices.
- A comprehensive compensation and benefits package; base salary ranges vary by location (e.g., US nationwide $111,600–$204,700; NYC metro $134,000–$232,700).
