Overview

HR GENERALIST – TALENT ACQUISITION At Bader Rutter, we believe great work starts with great people and the experience we create for them. As an HR Generalist with a focus on talent acquisition, you will be our agency’s primary talent ambassador. You’ll lead the recruiting and onboarding efforts that bring new talent into   and set them up for long-term success, while also supporting broader HR functions such as benefits, employee engagement, culture initiatives and special projects.

You’ll Do
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and shape thoughtful recruiting strategies.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, including posting jobs, sourcing, interviewing, screening and managing offers.
  • Build strong candidate pipelines through networking, relationship building and creative outreach.
  • Deliver a welcoming, well-organized onboarding experience for every new hire.
  • Manage applicant data and insights within our ATS and contribute ideas for improved processes.
  • Support HR operations as needed, including benefits, payroll coordination and employee communications.
  • Collaborate closely with your HR teammate to share knowledge, ensure coverage and continuously improve the employee experience.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, agency initiatives and special projects that enhance culture, engagement and HR effectiveness.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 4+ years of related HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, employment law and recruiting best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that build trust and credibility.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • A collaborative service-minded approach rooted in empathy and professionalism.
  • A growth mindset and genuine enthusiasm for learning, adapting and improving.

Location: Open to candidates based in Milwaukee and Chicago.

Salary Range: $55, annually

The provided salary range is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this hire. The actual salary offered will be influenced by candidate experience and other job and market-related factors.
