Job Description:

The Senior Human Resources Manager (or what we like to call it at Atomix,
People Operations & Culture
,) will play a critical, hands-on role in leading, building, and driving the success of our People today and in the future.

You will work directly with our COO and CEO, operating cross-functionally to fully own all aspects of HR, People, & Culture - recruiting and onboarding new employees, employee management/ reporting/ compliance, payroll/benefits analysis, policy, performance management, and streamlining HR-related activities.

• As the first senior department hire
  , you will be responsible for the both the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of HR Initiatives.
• This position will be responsible for overseeing all Human Resources aspects of the business, including The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Human Resources within the logistics or supply chain industry, along with expertise in building and managing a lean HR Department in a growing company.

Responsibilities:

Core

• 5–8 years experience in HR (generalist or manager role)
• Hands-on experience owning payroll, benefits, and compliance
• Experience supporting operations-heavy or hourly work forces
• Proven "Builder" comfortable and exceptional at building processes where none exist
• Very strong written and verbal communication
• High judgment, discretion, and accountability
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Previously first or early HR hire experience
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or warehousing
• Experience with ADP,
  HRIS platform, and exposure to multi-state labor compliance
• Bias toward action over perfection
• Takes ownership without waiting for permission
