Our client is a $3B global developer and manufacturer of innovative ingredients that make our world tastier and healthier. Reporting into the Director of Shared Services, this Lead Analyst will be supporting all North America employees in a leading global organization.

Purpose of the Position

The HRIS Analyst manages the HR Information System by designing, configuring, and testing innovative solutions and processes. They ensure data integrity, security, and effective integrations with business processes. This role creates reports, translates HR requirements into functional specifications, troubleshoots and resolves technical issues, provides user communication and training, and identifies opportunities for improvement. They also maintain system security, ensure compliance, and follow established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead research, design, configuration, and testing of UKG system solutions and existing processes.
  • Develop and implement robust governance standards for HRIS, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of data, system security, and efficient inbound and outbound integrations to support business processes.
  • Review and test new platform functionalities to make strategic recommendations to HR leadership and lead implementation of new features.
  • Lead efforts to ensure HRIS documentation, such as user guides and technical specifications, are consistent and accurate.
  • Translate HR business requirements into functional specifications for HRIS development and manage changes to such specifications to ensure seamless integration.
  • Create reports and dashboards to analyze and visualize HR-related metrics, such as turnover and hiring costs.
  • Design and implement custom reporting/analytics and dashboards using BI capabilities to align with HR strategy.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness by regularly auditing and updating employee records.
  • Serve as primary liaison to HR system vendor(s) to understand technology capabilities and recommend solutions that address business needs.
  • Provide support to HR team members by troubleshooting and resolving issues with the HRIS system.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement to maximize processes and system efficiencies.
  • Manage HR system foundational data and measure the quality of HR data used in analysis.
  • Communicate effectively within HR and the broader user group through regular updates, user documentation, and ongoing training materials.
  • Outline and communicate HRIS business processes to HR team; train and mentor new team members on UKG system and functionalities.
  • Set-up and maintain HRIS system security and configurations.
  • Demonstrates an unwavering commitment to our client’s safety-first culture by strictly following all safety protocols and participating in required safety programs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or related degree.
  • 5+ years in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and HCM (Human Capital Management) oversight, configuration, and support.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Detailed understanding of UKG architecture and security.
  • UKG experience in payroll, timekeeping, compensation, core HR, and scheduling modules with an understanding of end user functionality and configurations, integrations, reporting and analytic capabilities.
  • Experience with UKG Ready and UKG Pro is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated functional and technical expertise and leadership in support of systems and processes.
  • Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot basic to complex system functionality.
  • Proficiency in the advanced features of Microsoft Office Products.
Nice to Have Qualifications
  • Proficiency in a second language.
