In This Role, You Will

support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department and play a key role in ensuring a positive employee experience. This role provides administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, HR systems, and employee relations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, a self‑starter, and committed to delivering exceptional service to staff.

HR Operations & Administration
  • Provide administrative support for all major functions of the HR department, including the employee life cycle, benefits administration, and payroll support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, payroll information, and benefits records.
  • Serve as the payroll backup should our payroll lead be unable to process payroll.
  • Compile data and reports.
  • Provide audit support when requested.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and work to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to record‑keeping and prehire activities.
  • Assist with annual projects including beginning and end of year transitions.
Employee Experience and Culture
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day employee questions sent to the HR ticketing system and HR email account regarding HR policies, procedures, and general employment questions.
  • Provide support on some employee relations matters, escalating more complex issues as appropriate.
  • Play a significant role with smooth execution of major annual HR events, including Summer Welcome Days, contract renewal and open enrollment.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives such as recognition programs, appreciation events, and staff surveys.
  • Assist with benefits administration and education for our staff.
Professionalism
  • Communicate proactively, clearly and consistently with colleagues and supervisors, providing frequent updates on progress.
