What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead implementation of patient-centric models involving physicians, clinics, and hospitals
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Centers of Excellence and academic institutions
  • Provide education and support to healthcare providers for rare disease management
  • Execute strategic business and account plans based on market conditions
  • Navigate complex hospital settings to access targeted healthcare providers and stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in biotech/pharmaceutical sales, including 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized products
  • Proven launch experience in complex and competitive environments
  • Demonstrated sales performance with quantifiable accomplishments in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech markets
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and market access fundamentals
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for frequent travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master's degree preferred AND 6+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 4+ years of experience
  • Experience in rare diseases and prior experience with Key Accounts and academic institutions
  • Previous start‑up or market development experience
  • Endocrine experience is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to plan, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify business opportunities
