Description:
This is a position in the Electrophysiology Lab.
The department performs various cardiac procedures, typically dealing with common diagnoses such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular fibrillation, heart block, premature ventricular contractions, and tachy-brady syndrome.
The average number of cases per day is 3-4, and the lab has a total of 4 suites, with one designated for electrophysiology.
The role involves circulating in the lab, running x-ray equipment, scrubbing cases, and assisting the physician as needed.
Shifts are scheduled from Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of optional call duties, including one night per week and one weekend per month.
A response time of 30 minutes is expected for call requirements.
The dress code consists of hospital-supplied scrubs.
