Advanced Practitioner; NP​/PA- Electrophysiology Cardiology- Hybrid; Inpatient​/Outpatient

Position Summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Division of Cardiology is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide specialty medical care—EP care within the hybrid outpatient and inpatient settings. These positions are located at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee and Froedtert Hospital Menomonie Falls. The Advanced Practice Provider works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching.

• Full time, 1.0 fte
• Hours will vary based on the setting of the position (outpatient and inpatient), and are typically M-F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., with evenings & weekends based on business needs

Preferred Experience: Previous outpatient, inpatient, adult care, acute care, &/or critical care PA, NP, &/or RN experience strongly preferred.

• Advanced Practice Nurse:
  Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization.
• Physician Assistant:
  Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited organization.

Advanced Practice Nurse / Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner

• Wisconsin RN License
• Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License
• Certification Requirements:
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification from a nationally accredited professional nursing organization
  • BLS
  • CITI Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire

Physician Assistant

• Wisconsin Physician Assistant License
• Certification Requirements:
  • Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • BLS
  • CITI Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
