CHAPLAIN, FH - SPIRITUAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT

Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Froedtert Hospital)
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: 1st shift 8 AM to 4:30 PM with flexible start time and on‑call rotation
Hours:
40 per week
Works with other members of the Spiritual Services staff to provide spiritual care to patients, visitors, and the health care staff of Froedtert Health.
ExperienceAt least one year of chaplaincy experience is preferred.
Education- Undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s) from an accredited institution.
- Graduate‑level (Master’s) theological degree from an accredited institution (preferred).
- Certification as a Chaplain by one of the four certifying bodies may be accepted in lieu of a graduate degree.
Satisfactory completion of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by ACPE, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or its equivalent. Documentation of current endorsement or good standing in accordance with the requirements of the candidate’s faith/spiritual tradition is preferred.
Special SkillsEcclesiastical endorsement by a faith group is preferred.
LicensureCertification as a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) in the Association of Professional Chaplains, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, Neshama:
Association of Jewish Chaplains, or Spiritual Care Association within three years of hire.
