. Here, you will help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through a play‑based therapy known as applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Provide direct ABA therapy to children aged 2‑12 with autism and special needs, in their homes or at our centers.
- Implement behavior intervention plans and support communication, socialization, and self‑help skill development.
- Engage in physical tasks, including push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds, and sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation. Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle preferred.
- Schedule: Part‑time with potential for full‑time. Hours 8 am‑8 pm CST Monday‑Friday; weekends possible.
- Pay: Starting at $17 / hr and higher with experience.
- Minimum age 18 on or before first day of employment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Consistent weekly availability (mornings, afternoons, evenings).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish fluency.
- Preferred background: Psychology, education, special education, childcare, behavioral health, health science or related field.
- Experience working with children (babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, etc.).
- Training in behavior analysis or related therapeutic fields (ABA, occupational therapy, speech‑language pathology, counseling, mental health, etc.).
- Full‑time employees earn up to 15 days of paid time off after 90 days of employment.
- Part‑time employees are eligible for sick leave.
- Potential promotion within three months, with opportunities for professional development.
