Shift: Shift 1, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Job SummaryThis position covers multiple sites for leaves and provides comprehensive audio logic assessments, ototoxic monitoring, and non-organic hearing loss management. The role includes cerumen management, evaluation and fitting of hearing assistive technology, and ongoing hearing aid services. The professional offers a variety of styles, technologies, and manufacturers, and provides coverage for the walk-in clinic, adheres to billing practices, and refers complex audiological cases as needed.
Documentation is maintained in the medical record, and the candidate participates in departmental activities, teaching, program development, monthly meetings, student supervision, committees, and community groups.
One year of experience required. One year of experience as a student may be considered. One year experience in an audiology clinical setting performing specialized assessments is preferred.
Education DescriptionMaster's Degree in Audiology. Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Aud-D) is preferred.
Licensure DescriptionValid State of Wisconsin Audiologist license or temporary license is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
