Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence.
- Monitor health conditions as directed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and support dietary needs.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to enhance social interaction.
- Document and report any changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Drive clients to and from appointments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving preferred.
- Previous experience in home health care or a similar role is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to client care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Willing and able to work in Waukesha County communities.
