Job Purpose: Our next Clinical Therapist – Project Thrive will provide evidenced based treatment in a community setting to ensure wellness and stability for youth and families.
Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent, LCSW or LPC required.
- Two years post masters experience providing individual, child, group and family therapy preferred.
- Proficient in the usage of computer software; demonstrate an understanding of computer file systems and computer software packages, e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Teams, ADP, etc.
- Must be honest, dependable, and able to meet deadlines;
Self-motivated and able to work independently. - Physical exam, drug screen, motor vehicle report, and background checks are required for this position.
- A valid Wisconsin Driver’s License or occupational driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance is required.
- Provides effective clinical services to caseload of clients through the school-based clinic branch.
- Individual, family and group therapy, which facilitate maintenance of clients in his/her home school district.
- Develops and effectively implements treatment plans in conjunction with the client, his/her parent(s), and school personnel.
- Demonstrates client progress on treatment plan goals.
- Employs a trauma informed care perspective in treatment.
- Demonstrates family investment and participation in treatment planning and ongoing treatment.
- Assists clients in crisis resolution and de-escalation through developing appropriate crisis plan.
- Documents timely and to meet standards of licensure, regulations, and best practice models.
- Utilizes evidence-based treatment tools and skills appropriately and effectively.
- Provides individualized and specific recommendations to school and treatment teams.
- Builds positive relationships with schools and collateral providers.
- Networks appropriately within a school build relationship with people in diverse roles and maintain referral pathways.
- Develops innovative interventions and assists in implementation.
- Develops a network of community support and resources and connects clients with these resources as appropriate.
- Facilitates client access to community resources and makes referrals as needed.
- Assisting in utilization of these resources to resolve problems that impede optimal functioning of the family.
- All documentation is completed within the regulatory standard guidelines.
- Reviews the regulatory standards of DHS 75.50, DHS 95 and S 51.61 and abides by all standards.
- Meets program goals and expectations for volume and quality of work performed.
- Identifies and provides information to potential referral sources in the community.
- Assists in achieving program strategic goals for growth through identifying service gaps and opportunities in the community.
- Completes and maintains all needed case record documentation
- Maintains good standing in clinical licensure and completes are required trainings for renewal.
