Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) FT Weekends

Milwaukee Rehabilitation Hospital at Greenfield is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work full‑time weekends. The PTA will treat a diverse patient population ranging from 18‑year‑olds to geriatrics, assessing and supporting their rehabilitation goals under the direction of a Physician and Physical Therapist.

The Physical Therapy Assistant administers treatment programs with specific goals determined by patients’ capacity and tolerance, educates patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods, and assists in patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (online certification is not acceptable)

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
