Dietitan PRN Weekends

Position Summary

Plans, directs, and coordinates nutritional services and care for inpatients; establishes policies and procedures for patient nutritional care; supports Food Services and Nursing Departments with education regarding patient nutritional care; assists in establishing food safety/sanitation, preparation, and distribution policies.

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

• Licensed Dietitian with the State Board of Examiners of Dietitians.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, including teaching methods, educational principles, and nutritional requirements for individuals of varying ages and health conditions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames.
