We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Structured Transactions team for the summer. This role offers hands‑on experience in credit risk transfer (CRT) and risk analytics. You will work on projects that combine quantitative modeling, credit risk analysis, and structured finance concepts to help inform deal pricing and capital allocation decisions.

• Test third party Python scripts used for CRT cashflow modeling
• Compare model outputs by utilizing internal development cashflow dashboard
• Assist in analyzing CRT transaction structures, including tranche mechanics and pricing metrics
• Collaborating on ad‑hoc projects related to structured finance and credit risk analytics
• Present your findings and insights to team members and managers.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in quantitative finance/financial engineering, Economics, Risk Management, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to work full‑time hours throughout the summer on‑site at our downtown Milwaukee campus
• Basic proficiency in Python for data validation and modeling
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into business terms

• Exposure to GSE credit risk transfer programs and structured finance analytics

$37,830.00 - $56,750.00

This range aligns with current market data and reflects our commitment to competitive and equitable compensation. Salary offers are based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and training. The range may vary in certain locations to reflect local market conditions. It is not typical to initiate pay at the top of the range to account for internal equity and allow for future and continued salary growth.
