This Wealth Manager role is with a boutique Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) that delivers total wealth management through a highly personalized, planning‑first approach. The Wealth Manager serves as a cornerstone of the client journey—partnering with clients from onboarding through long‑term success by designing, implementing, and continuously refining comprehensive financial strategies.
In this role, the Wealth Manager translates sophisticated planning concepts into actionable recommendations, blends deep technical and product expertise with disciplined due diligence, and proactively evolves client strategies as goals, circumstances, and markets change. The position also offers the opportunity to develop a specialized area of expertise that differentiates both the advisor and the firm. This role is ideal for professionals driven by impact, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for building long‑term, relationship‑based client partnerships within a collaborative boutique RIA environment.
Key Responsibilities- Own and maintain the firm’s financial planning platform for assigned clients
- Establish new client portals and serve as the primary point of contact for client data gathering, organization, and entry
- Update client financial information and planning assumptions as circumstances evolve
- Prepare comprehensive written financial plans and tailored recommendations
- Develop and present client proposals independently or in coordination with Wealth Advisors, including:
- Life insurance proposals and illustrations, advisory account proposals, and long‑term care strategies
- Partner closely with Client Service Advisors to implement approved client recommendations
- Maintain accountability for a seamless and successful client onboarding experience
- Monitor client strategies on an ongoing basis and recommend updates or enhancements as appropriate
- Provide product expertise and due diligence support for advisory, insurance, and annuity solutions
- Contribute subject‑matter expertise across the firm’s three core focus areas:
- Holistic Financial Planning
- Asset Management (Public and Private Markets)
- Insurance Planning
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills
- 3–7 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or a related advisory environment
- Life & Health General Lines insurance license
- CFP® certification or other relevant subject‑matter expert designation strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the EOS® Model, processes, and tools preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance concepts, structures, and terminology
- Experience working with Salesforce, Orion, eMoney, or comparable CRM and planning platforms
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education, workshops, and industry seminars
Compensation is comprised of base plus profit sharing and bonus.
