Key Responsibilities- We are seeking a Contact Center Representative to support a transfer agency serving over 200 mutual fund companies.
- This role primarily handles inbound calls (with some outbound activity) from financial advisors, broker-dealers, and other investment professionals.
- Representatives act as an educational resource, providing detailed information about mutual fund products, including balances, performance, and holdings.
- This is not a sales role agents do not provide financial advice but focus on delivering accurate and informative support.
- The team manages both front-line calls and related back-office operations on behalf of the fund companies, representing the fund name rather than the client's name.
- The environment emphasizes quality and accuracy over call volume, ensuring timely, professional, and knowledgeable service.
- Key skills:
- Customer Service, Contact Center and Client Service - Prior exposure to financial investments or related knowledge
- 2–3 years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Edge
- Entry to intermediate experience using Adobe PDF
- Strong interest in finance and investing
- Ability to quickly learn processes, read and interpret documentation (ISO 9000), and confidently educate callers on product details
- Professional phone presence and strong engagement skills
- Our client offers fund administration, compliance, legal administration, fund accounting, fulfilment, distribution and marketing, custody, securities lending, transfer agent and shareholder services, and alternative investment product services.
- As Transfer Agent, we act as liaison and provide service to over 200 mutual fund/alternative investment companies and their shareholders.
- We have numerous opportunities for individuals, with excellent multitasking abilities to provide a superior level of service to our growing group of high-profile clients and their shareholders. Efficient and detail-oriented individuals will be able to showcase their talents and develop long lasting relationships through excellent verbal, and written communications.
- Accept and process telephone transaction and maintenance requests from institutional level shareholders. Field shareholder inquiries regarding account setup, prior transactions, fund objectives, and performance.
- Provide prompt notification of trade activity to internal and external clients as required. Serve as point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Field inquiries and transaction requests from retail level shareholders as required. Participate in a culture of continuous improvement, risk-based thinking, and employee engagement driven by our ISO 9001 certification.
- We provide the products and services necessary for fund sponsors to focus on investing while we protect their business interests and minimize risks.
