Our client is a Single Family Office in Milwaukee is seeking a dynamic, client-facing Wealth Advisor to deliver integrated, holistic wealth management, financial planning and educational services to three generations of family members. This role provides an opportunity for a professional to work alongside seasoned leadership, a collaborative internal team of family office professionals and a best-in-class group of external partners to deliver high touch advice and service to an ever-growing multigenerational family.
Aboutthe Role
In addition to developing trusted client relationships with the entire family through proactive and ongoing communication, the Wealth Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive and integrated wealth management services to the family. The Wealth Advisor will report to and work closely with the CEO, while collaborating on a regular basis with all members of the family office team. The family office offers a hybrid-friendly work schedule.
To balance the value of team collaboration with personal flexibility, all professional staff are expected to work at least three days a week in the office.
- Providing comprehensive and integrated wealth management services to a multigenerational family, with a particular emphasis placed upon the second and third generations.
- Serving as a resource and primary point of contact to family member clients on all personal financial matters. This includes providing advice and service across a wide array of subjects, including investment planning, private banking, asset acquisition and divestments, insurance planning, estate and gift planning, trust management, philanthropy and income tax planning.
- Working closely with select third party advisors and learning providers, the Wealth Advisor will also play a critical role in the development and delivery of educational programs and events to the second and third generations of the family. Education is a core pillar of the family office’s service offering, necessitating that the Wealth Advisor must possess a passion and interest in supporting new learning and developmental content for the family.
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance is valued strongly; commensurate professional experience will be considered
- Preferably, 10+ years of experience serving as an advisor/planner for UHNW individuals and families in a family office, private bank, trust company or RIA
- Professional designations, such as CPA, CFP®, CFA®, and CPWA® are highly desirable
- Excellent project management and client service orientation
- Critical thinker who can research and problem solve unique challenges as they arise
- Unquestioned discretion on all matters related to the family and family office; ability to work well with multiple households of the family while maintaining confidentiality across branches
