Overview
Join Peoples State Bank as a Full-Time Credit Analyst 1 or 2. Depending on experience, this opportunity can range from Credit Analyst 1 or 2 status.
Job Location:
Milwaukee or Wausau, WI with potential for remote flexibility based on experiences and performance.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
As a Credit Analyst, you will analyze financial data for commercial loan requests, scrutinize historical operating performance, identify strengths and weaknesses, and support lending decisions. You will collaborate with credit managers and loan officers, report your findings, and ensure timely follow-ups on recommendations. You may independently prepare loan packages and recommend approval or denial based on your assessments. This role offers the opportunity to influence key financial decisions while contributing to client success.
WhatWe’re Looking For In a Credit Analyst
To thrive in this role, you should have a solid foundation in business or finance and hold a Bachelor's degree. For Credit Analyst 1, commercial loan underwriting experience is a plus. For Credit Analyst 2, typically 3+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis or lending is expected. You should be able to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and proficient proofreading and editing skills are essential. Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software is important.
- Bachelor's degree in a business or finance field is required, including courses in accounting, finance, and real estate.
- Credit Analyst 1:
Commercial loan underwriting experience is a plus. Credit Analyst 2: typically 3+ years in commercial credit analysis or lending. - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
