We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team in Glendale, Wisconsin. In this role, you will contribute to the accuracy of financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the improvement of accounting processes. You will also play a vital role in guiding less experienced team members and collaborating across departments to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and reconcile payroll, payroll taxes, benefits, and insurance liabilities for U.S.

-based entities, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash applications for designated bank accounts, posting adjustments as needed.

- Collaborate with Human Resources to calculate benefits, procure services, and allocate costs to appropriate general ledger accounts.

- Generate timely and accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, adhering to relevant accounting standards.

- Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including cash accounting, benefits analysis, and compensation evaluations.

- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, intercompany transactions, eliminations, and variance analysis.

- Enhance internal controls to safeguard assets, maintain compliance, and support accurate financial reporting.

- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to streamline operations and enhance reporting accuracy.

- Provide mentorship and detail oriented development support to less experienced accountants, fostering high-performance standards.

- Collaborate with finance, FP& A, and other teams to assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility.

- Expertise in accounting standards and practices within multi-location and multi-currency environments.

- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in team-based settings.

- Demonstrated success in managing month-end close processes and performing complex account reconciliations.

- Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or CPA certification.

- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, SAP BPC, One Stream, and advanced Excel capabilities.
