- Conduct complex financial analysis and modeling to provide actionable information and prepares recommendations for policies, procedures, controls, or actions.
- Analyzes financial information to assess present financial performance and predict future financial performance. Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.
- Evaluates complex profit plans, operating records, operational productivity metrics and financial statements.
- Directs preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, cash flow projections, and business forecasts.
- Partners with various company stakeholders to understand objectives and provide support through utilization of company data to drive informed decision making.
- Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.
- Makes recommendations to operation management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
- Researches and prepares economic reports on subjects such as rate of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.
- Provides interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory, or customer financial regulations.
Job Skills Requirements
- Proficient with spreadsheets and database software or accounting applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects quickly and accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines with appropriate attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five years’ experience in accounting and/or finance.
