The PositionOur bank client is seeking a Lending Compliance Analyst in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to business lending, including Regulation B and HMDA reporting. The analyst will audit business loans for accuracy, collaborate with Legal, Risk & Compliance departments to interpret regulations, and develop policies to ensure adherence to guidelines.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of up to $35/hr and a benefits package. (This is not a remote position).
Lending Compliance Analyst Responsibilities:- Support development and improvement of Business Services Quality Control processes.
- Manage all HMDA compliance and reporting with FFIEC.
- Serve as SME for Regulation B and manage adverse action processes.
- Develop audit procedures to ensure loan application actions align with guidelines.
- Review construction draws and loan documentation for accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes and controls.
- Create reports on audit results and communicate findings to management.
- Act as a QA and regulatory SME for Business Services.
- Design and deliver training on quality assurance and compliance.
- Monitor legislation and regulations affecting compliance, and assist in policy development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of quality control or compliance experience, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of business process lifecycle and regulatory standards.
- Experience with quality control programs, especially for business products, and interpreting policies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Discretion and judgment in handling sensitive information.
- Understanding of company policies, procedures, and relevant laws.
