Senior Reimbursement Analyst (Contract | Possible Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in Wisconsin)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
Contract Dates: January 12 – April 11, 2026
Work Type: Non-Clinical | Finance / Reimbursement
About the RoleThe facility is looking for a Senior Reimbursement Analyst to support its Corporate Reimbursement team. This is a remote, non-clinical role focused on healthcare accounting, reimbursement analysis, and financial reporting. There is strong potential for this position to convert to a permanent role for the right fit.
If you’re solid with numbers, comfortable owning month-end processes, and experienced in healthcare finance, this is a role where your expertise will genuinely matter.
What You’ll Be Doing- Handle month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Perform AR valuation, contractual allowance calculations, and reserve rate analysis
- Prepare analytics and reporting related to reimbursement and net revenue
- Support Finance and Operations teams with reimbursement-related insights and variance analysis
- Work with large data sets in Excel to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
- Help identify process inefficiencies and contribute to workflow and reporting improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, revenue analytics, or healthcare accounting
- Strong accounting foundation with experience in journal entries and reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
- Healthcare experience is required; medical group experience is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Clear communication skills and comfort collaborating across teams
- Fully remote role
- Standard business hours (8a–5p CST)
- Non-clinical, finance-focused position
- Occasional travel may be required
