Mutual Funds Specialist – Milwaukee, WI

Base pay range: $23.00/hr - $25.21/hr

• Processes new accounts, purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and account maintenance
• Processes change requests to meet critical deadlines
• Responds to current and prospective shareholder inquiries received via telephone, providing general investment company information
• Initiates customer or account financial transactions and adjustments as authorized by department guidelines
• Calculates and processes exact share trades, determines dividend distribution amounts, and reconciles account balances

• Working knowledge of the securities/mutual fund industry, terminology, rules, regulations, practices, and procedures gained through experience or post‑secondary education
• Excellent oral and written communication, mathematical, PC, and customer service skills
• Ability to collect, interpret, and apply diverse client/fund information and regulatory guidelines
• Strong reading comprehension skills to effectively interpret shareholder requests and legal documents
• Ability to perform all types of transactions with minimal supervision while maintaining or exceeding internal/external quality and productivity goals
• Ability to communicate with shareholders, internal departments, fund clients, and administrative agencies to resolve problems regarding shareholder requests and regulatory requirements

This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions. Pay is determined based on factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs and may be modified in the future.
