The State & Local Tax practice delivers comprehensive and specialized tax assistance tailored to client needs.
YourKey Responsibilities
A Senior Analyst will deliver tax compliance and consulting work for clients, identifying problem areas, escalating issues, and ensuring timely and accurate completion. Other responsibilities include:
- Analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
- Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to our clients.
- Researching market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Developing clear plans to improve client tax activities.
- Building long‑lasting client relationships tailored to their needs.
- Working with a motivated team of professionals.
- Maintaining your reputation by continuously updating and sharing technical knowledge.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline, or a graduate degree in Tax or Law.
- Progress toward CPA or Enrolled Agent license.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in professional services or a professional tax organization.
- Understanding of automated tax processing systems.
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning.
- Thorough knowledge of state and local partnership tax.
- Proficiency with Office applications.
- Experience with Return Preparation Software.
- Experience working in diverse teams.
- Ability to adapt work style to internal and client teams.
