Accounting Manager

Schedule: 8-5

Bonus: 15%

We are looking for a detail-focused professional to guide the financial and reporting activities of our production site. This role is central in managing plant-level accounting processes, planning cycles, analysis, and internal practices that support operational performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting tasks for the facility, including records, cost tracking, inventory, and payables/receivables.
  • Coordinate the site’s planning and forecasting processes in line with overall business goals.
  • Maintain and review cost standards, monitoring shifts in materials, labor, and other production expenses.
  • Produce recurring financial summaries and management updates.
  • Lead closeout cycles at month and year-end, ensuring alignment with internal requirements.
  • Track operational indicators and expense patterns to highlight opportunities for efficiency.
  • Ensure practices meet company expectations and relevant guidelines.
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to provide insight and recommend cost improvements.
  • Support audit activities and compliance efforts.
  • Work closely with corporate finance contacts, as needed.
  • Contribute positively to team initiatives in a collaborative manner.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment by following site safety practices.
  • Perform additional tasks as required in support of the team and business.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related area.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement practices or certifications is a plus.
  • CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
Skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working with different levels across the organization.
  • Ability to analyze information and provide meaningful insights.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
