What We Need

This role is responsible for managing the credit and collections team across all business units within the Americas region, including US, Canada and Mexico. The position manages credit policies, evaluates customer credit worthiness, oversees collection, fraud, and customer dispute activity, and ensures compliance with company standards. Managing customer disputes. The role collaborates closely with Customer Service, Sales Operations, Channel, Cash Applications, and other cross‑functional teams.

You’ll Be Doing
  • Continuously review and manage our company’s credit policies and procedures to effectively manage risk and align with business goals.
  • Evaluate potential and existing customers’ financial stability through credit reports, financial statements and payment history.
  • Review and manage orders as they go on credit blocks.
  • Manage and minimize fraud by researching and analyzing fraud trends and monitoring internal controls.
  • Approve or reject credit applications to minimize bad debt while supporting business growth.
  • Perform root cause analysis on disputes and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead the collections process, ensuring timely payments & healthy accounts receivable metrics. Work closely with collectors to monitor accounts receivables, past dues and oversee the collection efforts to ensure timely payments from customers.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports & KPIs for team members & leadership.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients while managing credit risk.
  • Integrate credit and collections processes from newly acquired businesses into the centralized Americas team.
  • Identify & execute synergies, efficiencies & process improvements.
  • Manage, train, and develop a team of 5+ professionals directly, ensuring high performance and operational excellence.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required; a degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in credit and or accounts receivable/collections.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
    Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills; attention to detail.
  • SAP and Get Paid experience are a plus.
