The JobStage Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing all on-stage and loading dock operations from pre-show preparations to day-of-show execution for concerts and events. This role serves as the central point of communication between the Venue Production Manager, touring, client, and/or rental vendor team ensuring that technical and logistical execution aligns. The Stage manager oversees all stage activity and ensures smooth load-in/outs, efficient communication, and on-time performances.
WhatThis Role Will Do
- Communicate the details of the event to the venue production crew and all relevant in-house departments.
- Manage members of the Venue production team and stagehands.
- Ensure that the tour(s) and client(s) have required items from venue needed to execute show(s) and event(s).
- Supervise the load-in and load out of band and rental equipment.
- Document accident, incident, and disciplinary issues for the production crew and report actions back to Production Manager.
- Execute settlements per contract with artists post show.
- Enforce all in-house policies regarding staging, safety and show protocol.
- 3 years minimum Tour and Stage Production experience.
- Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systems.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing a team of 5+ individuals.
- Make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited information.
- Computer literate in Windows applications.
- Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- College Degree.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
- Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level.
