Live Nation is seeking a Backstage Experience Coordinator for the Landmark Credit Union Live venue. The position reports directly to the venue General Manager and is responsible for administering various Live Nation and venue‑designed programs to support local production and touring personnel. The role is hospitality‑focused, ensuring a phenomenal backstage experience for touring personnel.
Responsibilities- Administer Live Nation and venue‑designed programs in partnership with the General Manager.
- Maintain backstage hospitality expectations and division‑wide goals.
- Meet and greet touring parties upon arrival and serve as the primary point of contact for hospitality needs.
- Wash, dry, and fold tour laundry and maintain dressing rooms and bus stock.
- Partner with local backstage catering to meet artists’ rider requirements.
- Participate in the venue’s sustainability program, including waste sorting, recycling, and education of bands.
- Act as the backstage brand ambassador and face of the service culture program.
- Complete the Post‑Event Service Recap and analyze service reports to create action plans for improvement.
- Research best practices and collaborate with the Artist Services team and Venue GM to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Assist Production Managers and Catering Teams with advance facilitation.
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑show walkthroughs with checklists to ready backstage areas and document damages.
- Co‑manage backstage program budgets and process vendor invoices.
- Maintain metrics and share information with the Artist Services Team, tracking historic data on tours.
- Plan memorable hospitality moments such as birthdays and special celebrations.
- Ability to remain composed around high‑profile artists and in a hectic environment.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Positive outlook, strong communication, and engagement skills.
- Problem‑solving skills and creative solution experience.
- 1+ year backstage/production/hospitality experience.
- 2–3 years comparable role experience.
- 1–2 years leadership experience.
- Interest in service and helping others.
- Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, lift and carry equipment; can lift 30 lb. using proper technique.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Business, Human Resources, or comparable (preferred).
- Public‑speaking or meeting‑facilitation skills (plus).
