Quality Engineering Intern

The Quality Engineering Intern will support Quality Engineering in product quality improvements, and monitoring and reporting quality performance. This person will provide immediate quality support to production, inspection and other support teams as required.
** DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
** include, but not limited to:
* Administer and facilitate Non-Conformance (NCR) and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
* Coordinate and facilitate processing Return Material Authorizations (RMA)
* Perform various types of quality audits and inspections
* Assist with coordination of Calibration program

* QUALIFICATIONS:

*** Current College Student in either a 2-year or 4-year program, preferable related to Engineering/Manufacturing.
* Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
* Basic knowledge for use of standard measuring equipment
* Experience with spreadsheets and databases; ability to organize data efficiently and effectively into inspection reports
* Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Highly organized with positive attitude and willingness to learn

* WORKING CONDITIONS:

** This position works in an office environment with significant time spend out on the manufacturing floor.  Will be required to wear safety clothing and gears while working in safety sensitive areas.
