Telecommunications Engineer

Milwaukee WI (Hybrid- 3 Days/week onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer III to support field surveys, infrastructure assessments, and preliminary network design for multi‑dwelling and multi‑tenant environments. This role requires hands‑on work with coax/Ethernet infrastructure, direct interaction with property owners, and the ability to generate simple, accurate design layouts following each site survey.

• Perform on‑site surveys at multi‑dwelling and multi‑tenant buildings to evaluate existing coax and Ethernet junction points

• Access locked enclosures as needed (tools may be required) and document all relevant cabling and infrastructure details.
• Assess building conditions and recommend optimal methods for installing company services and equipment.
• Generate simple, clear design layouts summarizing survey findings; include photos where required.
• Schedule and coordinate site visits directly with property owners or building managers.
• Access rooftops or elevated locations when needed; some surveys may require ladder use or rooftop entry via hatch.

• Hands‑on experience working with coax and Ethernet cabling.
• Ability to safely use ladders and access rooftops or elevated areas.
• Experience communicating and coordinating with property owners or building stakeholders.
• Ability to create basic technical diagrams or layouts following a site assessment.
• General understanding of building structures and pathways to support equipment installation recommendations.

• Field experience conducting telecom or low‑voltage site surveys.
• Working knowledge of inside‑plant and building riser pathways.
• Familiarity with MDU/MTU environments or similar multi‑unit structures.
