Telecommunications Engineer - III​/Lead

Schedule:

Onsite/field 3–4 days per week; remote 1–2 days per week

• Design and install equipment used to transmit broadband data over in‑building networks.
• Work with coax, twisted‑pair copper, and fiber‑optic cabling, along with complex network and switching equipment.
• Coordinate installation of new in‑building networks and related equipment.
• Evaluate multi‑tenant residential and commercial buildings to determine compatibility with various network systems.
• Manage large build projects involving broadband services, ensuring proper planning and timely execution.
• Produce technical documentation to assess build feasibility for candidate properties.
• Provide general operational support for local field engineering and sales teams as needed.

• General knowledge and experience with designing and installing in‑building network architectures.
• Ability to identify and prevent work‑area hazards.
• Experience with CATV provider termination points (e.g., terminals, pedestals).

• Experience with Google Suite and mobile/computer‑based applications.
• Frontline experience working directly with customers or clients.

• Comfortable working on rooftops.
• Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks as needed.

• Four‑year college degree or equivalent field experience required.

Intermediate Level

This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
