Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and engineering, is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Product Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, innovative thinking, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job DetailsJob Title: Principal Mechanical Engineer
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay Range: $58.7
- Lead mechanical design activities, including creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings in CREO.
- Develop and execute product validation plans, ensuring quality and durability through testing and analysis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage CAD data, design releases, and documentation workflows within Windchill PLM and SAP systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and testing teams to meet product performance standards.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. college or university.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design, product engineering, or quality engineering.
- Proficiency in CREO Parametric, GD&T, and assembly design standards.
- Experience with validation testing, inspection methods, and quality tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
