EHS/Industrial Hygienist Entry Level role at Clarios

Location:

Geneva, on‑site 5 days per week; approximately 10% travel.

• Implement and maintain an industrial hygiene program following Federal, State, Local, and Corporate requirements aligned with Clarios Manufacturing System, ACGIH, and other standards.
• Collaborate with Health & Safety, Environmental, Nursing, HR, and Plant Leadership teams to identify and deploy solutions that reduce occupational exposures.
• Develop strategies to reduce/eliminate health and wellness risks, including air filtration, ventilation, engineering controls, PPE, etc.
• Conduct quarterly testing for ventilation, lead, air, noise, and other relevant parameters.
• Drive Clarios Best Business Practices and oversee their incorporation into the Clarios Management System.
• Educate and train plant personnel on industrial hygiene and ventilation practices.
• Manage legal, governmental, and corporate IH records and ensure compliance.
• Review manufacturing and support operations to assure ongoing IH practices.
• Analyze data, summarize statistics, and compile reports to support improvement initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of applicable regulations and update practices accordingly.
• Maintain professional competency through education, training, and credential maintenance.
• Manage PPE room and locker assignments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial hygiene role, preferably manufacturing.
• Proficient knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
• Experience with OSHA, ACGIH, or equivalent organizations.
• Manufacturing experience.

• Graduate degree in Industrial Hygiene or Certified Industrial Hygienist.
