Food & Beverage Sr. Project Manager

Position Summary

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized engineering firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth in its Food & Beverage group. A full‑time project manager is available in our West Allis (Milwaukee area) WI office.

The project manager will lead a multi-disciplinary design team focused on providing innovative process, packaging, and automation solutions to manufacturing clients. The manager will provide engineering leadership and a solid working understanding of process, utility, packaging, and control systems. Responsibilities include managing all phases of the project, including design, equipment procurement, construction, commissioning, and training, while delivering a positive client experience.

Travel is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and at least 10 years of relevant engineering firm experience, of which at least 2 must be at the project manager level. If no degree, at least 14 years of relevant engineering experience, of which at least 2 must be at the project manager level.

• Delivering process, packaging, and/or automation projects on budget and on schedule.
• Managing complex scopes and multiple simultaneous projects.
• Guiding discipline leads on project design.
• Managing client interaction and expectations.
• Identifying and developing business opportunities.
• Collaborating with engineers, subcontractors, subconsultants, and equipment vendors.
