Crafted HighlightsIn the role of Line Lead – Utilities, you will work in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as part of the Utilities Team in Brewery Operations. You will lead, coach, and motivate a technical team in the historic Milwaukee Brewery. You will manage and optimize the central utilities of the brewery. Our Central Utilities team is responsible for:
- CO₂ collection and distribution
- Plant compressed air
- Steam extraction and distribution (including our relationship with ENGIE and local CoGen power plant/boiler O&M partners)
- Electrical distribution
- Cooling water
This position reports to the Unit Manager – Utilities and works closely with Brewery Workers and other Process Leaders.
What You’ll Be BrewingMost importantly, you will lead a team of talented colleagues and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one‑on‑one conversations.
- Facilitate and contribute to technical troubleshooting for process equipment.
- Lead, manage, and coach maintenance plans and asset care.
- Deliver cost and productivity through controlling and managing a budget.
- Drive continuous improvement and lead technical problem solving.
- Lead team performance, talent management, and create a culture of employee engagement.
- Lead and coordinate efforts in safety and housekeeping.

QualificationsTechnical experience with process equipment (troubleshooting, maintenance, etc.). Preferably experience in the food & beverage industry, utilities, oil & gas, or chemical plant environment.
Prefer to have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline, or thorough industry/practical experience.
Turnaround/maintenance planning experience is a plus, as is working with maintenance/operational crews.
Pay and BenefitsJob Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $84,000.00 – $ (posting salary range). The posting range provided above represents the salary for this role at the time of posting. We ultimately pay based on non‑discriminatory factors including location, experience, skill set, and internal equity.
Additional incentives: 15% target short‑term incentive. On average, $23,000 is spent on benefits per employee, including health, dental, vision, retirement with above‑market employer match, wellness incentives, EAP, and paid time off (including holidays, vacation days, and sick days).
