- Lead complex outdoor lighting and electrical design projects for government agencies and public infrastructure.
- Develop lighting plans for roadways, bridges, highways, parks, trails, public spaces, amphitheaters, and event venues.
- Produce detailed construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and lighting control systems.
- Perform all technical design calculations and partner with licensed engineers for final review.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and clients to meet project expectations.
- Respond to requests for information, change orders, inspections, and punch lists.
- Supervise or mentor junior designers.
- Lead the outdoor lighting group, overseeing marketing, cross‑functional coordination, and client engagement.
- Associate’s degree in electrical or lighting engineering from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency with electrical codes, voltage‑drop calculations, power distribution design, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience leading multi‑disciplinary electrical or lighting projects.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Roadway lighting design experience using AGI 32.
- Project management experience or strong interest in becoming one.
- Willingness to travel for meetings, client consultations, field surveys, and construction observation.
- Minimum 5 + years of related experience.
- Airfield lighting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Licensed Electrical Engineer capable of multiple state licensures.
- Field investigations, condition assessments, client interfacing, and report writing.
- Experience with Bentley Micro Station and/or Open Roads.

Base compensation for this role is $90,000–$130,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
