As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing large-scale electrical projects and teams locally and nationally. • Lead electrical design on large-scale projects across various sectors, including corporate, higher education, and performing arts.
• Manage project teams locally and nationally to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of electrical systems and solutions.
• Develop and review electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting systems, and control systems, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design professionals.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into innovative, functional designs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams to drive projects forward and ensure expectations are met.
• Assess the requirements of a project, break the project into tasks, and work with the design team to determine scope, budget, and staffing.
• Write scopes of work for electrical design based on preliminary review and meetings with the client.
• Prepare engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyze the operation of existing systems.
• Present complex engineering analysis clearly and effectively to owner and design teams.
• Document existing conditions and perform complex and detailed troubleshooting.
• Resolve a variety of complex problems, i.e. conflicting design requirements, code issues, varying design options, and difficult condition requirements.
• Research non-routine code issues and obtain interpretations from code officials.
• Produce sketches and system schematics for complicated design tasks.
