, a nationally recognized architecture, engineering, and design firm. We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering innovative, high-performance solutions across a wide range of project types.
In this role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to projects that span healthcare facilities, corporate headquarters, laboratories, museums, government buildings (local, state, and federal), higher education campuses, and infrastructure improvements.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking experienced professionals with a strong consulting engineering background, particularly in:
- Central Utility Plant design and steam systems
- Expert knowledge of applicable codes and regulations
- Extensive understanding of standard engineering practices, techniques, and procedures
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external clients to address complex engineering challenges

In this role you will- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 8 years minimum of consulting engineering experience with emphasis on Central Utility Plant design for multiple client types
- Professional Engineer registration recognized by a state licensing board
- Steam and Hot Water Boiler Plant systems
- Chiller plants of 1,000 tons or greater
- Knowledge in building controls is desired but not required
- Revit, BIM, Trane/Trace and Microsoft Office skills required
The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs.
Salary Range: $71,600 - $113,700
