Application Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Engineer to join our technical sales and support team. This role involves providing technical expertise to support our sales efforts, assisting customers with system integration, and delivering high‑quality technical support both remotely and on‑site.

• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during customer inquiries, presentations, and proposal development.
• Prepare and review technical documents, including specifications, drawings, and product selection guides.
• Assist customers with product integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems.
• Provide hands‑on support during installation, commissioning, and start‑up activities.
• Develop and maintain engineering tools, templates, and spreadsheets using Excel and other software.
• Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD to support project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent communication and support through both in‑person meetings and remote platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
• Travel domestically and internationally (approximately 20%) to support customer projects and conduct site visits.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an engineering or technical sales support role.
• Exceptional computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Visual Basic (VB) programming is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate alternatives and provide clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with customers in person and remotely.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Location:

Richfield, WI – Salary: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year.
