Your Impact
  • Utilize CFD tools to solve physics-based problems related to indoor and outdoor building flows, thermal comfort, contaminant dispersion, and condensation controls.
  • Improve existing analytical capabilities by developing and improving best practices, automating processes, and streamlining workflows.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant computational fluid dynamics research in the building mechanical field and apply proactive research insights.
  • Document, report, and present engineering solutions to design teams and clients.
  • Work independently while communicating and coordinating with other engineering disciplines and project managers.
Who You Are

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Building Mechanical Systems.
  • Ability to deliver quality work within deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience with CFD analysis software such as FloEFD, STAR‑CCM+, Fluent, FDS, OpenFOAM, or 6

    Sigma Room.
  • Familiarity with writing User Defined Functions (UDF) for commercial CFD software.
  • Programming skills in Python, C++, or Java.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, planning, organizing, decision‑making, and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to present research findings clearly.
  • Strong drive for results and continuous improvement.

Expected salary: $91,000 – $129,000.
