As the GIS Manager at the Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, this position will lead the strategic management of the Geographic Information System (GIS) and Cityworks asset management platform. This role includes maintaining the accuracy and functionality of spatial data, streamlining operational workflows, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. The position will assist in planning and executing operational and expansion projects, leveraging expertise to enhance safety, efficiency, and the passenger experience.

Collaboration with various airport departments and external stakeholders is essential. The role covers MKE and Timmerman Airports.

This position will work in the office Monday/Wednesday/Friday and remotely Tuesday/Thursday. Occasional evenings may be required.

• GIS Database Management – Maintain and update Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport's GIS database. Ensure accuracy and completeness of spatial data related to airport infrastructure.
• Asset Inventory & Tracking – Track and manage airport assets including runways, taxiways, buildings, and utilities. Implement asset tagging and tracking systems for maintenance and inspections.
• Cityworks Integrations – Integrate GIS data with Cityworks for streamlined operations. Manage workflows and requests to optimize resource allocation. Lead the integration of GIS data with the Cityworks work and asset management system.
• Spatial Analysis – Perform spatial analysis to support airport planning, development, and safety assessments. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Regulatory Compliance – Ensure airport infrastructure complies with aviation regulations and safety standards. Maintain records to demonstrate compliance.
• Data Visualization – Create maps and visualizations to communicate spatial data to stakeholders. Generate informative reports and presentations.
• Training & Documentation – Train airport staff on GIS and Cityworks systems. Maintain documentation and user guides for GIS and Cityworks applications.
• Budget Management – Manage the budget for GIS and Cityworks projects and licenses. Ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with airport departments and external agencies to share GIS data and expertise. Engage with stakeholders to meet spatial data needs.
• Application Management – Monitor changes in GIS/asset management. Maintain and evaluate functionality to ensure optimal operation. Develop and document SOPs and workflows.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 20 lbs.
