General Education Teacher (5th Grade) – $38/hr – Racine, WI – 3-Month Assignment

The General Education Teacher implements daily instructional plans, maintains a positive classroom environment, and supports the academic and personal growth of students. This educator collaborates with administration, colleagues, and families while providing high-quality instruction and classroom management.

Monday–Friday

Hours:

40 hours per week

• 7:30 a.m.–3:15 p.m. (may stay until 3:30 p.m. for late pickup)

• Wednesdays: PD until 4:30 p.m.

Pay Rate: $38/hour (local)

Openings: 1 position

• 5th Grade General Education Classroom
• Private-school environment with a strong emphasis on teacher longevity and support
• DPI license not required, though helpful
• Virtual or in-person interview required with the principal
• Option to visit classroom early to set up before the first day

• Implement instructional plans and deliver high-quality lessons
• Maintain classroom management and foster a positive learning environment
• Communicate with parents, administrators, and fellow teachers
• Support student academic progress and classroom engagement
• Perform grading, planning, and supervision duties as assigned
• Attend required professional development sessions

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Teaching certification preferred (DPI not required)
• At least 1 year of teaching experience preferred
• CPR, TB screening, and health certificate if required
• Must meet all local, state, and federal requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Business‑casual dress code
