In This Role

Ideal candidates will demonstrate professionalism, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the front office runs smoothly. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced school setting.

Expectations
  • Customer Service – serves as the primary point of contact for families, providing timely and effective service for all inquiries and needs.
    • Answering Phones and directing calls
    • Greeting and assisting Guests, parents, and students
    • Checking guests in and out for security purposes
    • Handling faxes, copies, paperwork, etc.
  • Clerical Tasks
    • Data entry of essential student information into student management software and other platforms.
    • As assigned
  • Security/student help
    • Tracking students to/from nurse
    • Assisting security, nurse, clinic with retrieving students
    • Updating records as needed
  • Dismissal
    • Assisting with walker line
    • Calling parents for late pick-ups
    • Translation (Spanish, as needed)
      • Phone translation for parent/guardian class
      • Assisting with in-person translation
      • Translating written communications
    • Attendance and Enrollment support
      • Processing tardy/early dismissals
      • Inputting absences
      • Maintain real-time attendance records
      • Communicates with teacher, administration, safety and family
    • Mail/packages
      • Receiving, sorting and distributing mail and packages
    • Financial/Fee Handling
      • Collecting and tracking student fees
    • Perform other duties that may be assigned to assist in the flow of information amongst staff and/or families.
