Spanish Teacher

Founded in 2000, the Milwaukee Academy of Science (MAS) is a public charter school located in the Avenues West neighborhood of Milwaukee, WI. MAS serves over 1,400 students from K4 through 12th grade across the city. The academy is a recognized leader in STEM education, dedicated to empowering urban students for success at the post-secondary level. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Spanish Teacher position located in Milwaukee, WI. The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, developing and implementing curriculum, and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Additional responsibilities include tutoring students, monitoring their progress, and collaborating with staff to create an enriching educational experience that promotes language proficiency and cultural understanding.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish Teaching and a strong grasp of teaching methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development.
• Skills in Teaching and Tutoring to meet diverse student learning needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to build a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with integrating technology into the classroom is a plus.
