Part Time Educator – Seeds of Health

Now hiring for the  school year! Right At School provides local school districts with before- and after‑school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind through safe, engaging experiences for children.

Location: Seeds of Health, Milwaukee, WI
Educator Pay Rate: $15‑$18 per hour (based on education and experience)
Program

Hours:

Monday‑Friday, 2:45 PM‑6 PM
Start Date: mid‑July (pre‑school‑year online training and in‑person training in August)

• Lead daily program meetings, reviewing goals, sharing ideas, and encouraging collaboration.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities, preparing curriculum that aligns with program objectives.
• Model positive guidance, maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
• Prioritize safety, monitor the environment, document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love of learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexible to support additional local programs as needed.

• Meet state‑specific requirements.
• First aid and CPR, in‑person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Minimum age 18.
• Proof of high‑school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual language skills a plus.
• 240 hours as assistant childcare teacher in a licensed childcare.
• One of the following:
• Two non‑credit department‑approved courses in early childhood education.
• Two credits in early childhood plus one non‑credit department‑approved course in early childhood.
• Certificate from the Wisconsin registry as a child‑care teacher.
