The Department of Management and Human Resources at Marquette University invites applications for two full-time tenure‑track Assistant Professor positions in Organizational Behavior and Leadership for Fall 2026. Candidates should have a Ph.D., or be close to completing one, in Organizational Behavior or a related discipline. An ideal candidate will demonstrate potential for publication in high‑quality journals and have a strong commitment to teaching and delivering leadership‑related executive education.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates incorporating emerging areas of artificial intelligence and organizational behavior.
- Teach 15 credits per year in the Department of Management and Human Resources, College of Business. New faculty teach 12 credits in the first year and are eligible for a reduced teaching load upon demonstration of excellence in research.
- Courses taught in both undergraduate and graduate MBA/MiM programs.
- Promote an environment of principled and ethics‑based instruction consistent with the values and ideals of our Catholic, Jesuit institution.
- Publish in high‑quality journals that meet the University promotion and tenure standards.
- Demonstrate active participation in national and international academic conferences.
- Support and advise students.
- Deliver industry‑aligned Executive Education programming.
- Contribute to departmental, college and university committees and engagement with community and industry partners.
- Contribute to the larger academic community in the form of journal, conference, and other support.
- Earned doctorate or terminal degree in Organizational Behavior, Leadership, or a related field.
- Potential for teaching excellence and high‑quality research.
- Teaching experience at the university level or professional training in the relevant area.
- Demonstrated commitment to aligning scholarship with emerging AI and organizational behavior topics.
