Overview
Seeking a full-time Family Practice Physician (MD or DO) to join a 25-bed critical access hospital in Shell Lake, WI, serving local communities for over 70 years.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care in outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and preventive settings with a rotating schedule, including ER call (4-6 nights/month) and hospital rounding.
- Perform diagnoses, treatments, interpret tests, and manage prescriptions, collaborating with hospital staff to ensure quality care.
- Utilize EMR systems and promote effective communication among staff and patients.
- Enjoy a supportive work environment with work/life balance, excellent benefits, and opportunities for outdoor recreation in a small-town setting.
- Maintain licensure, board certification, and certifications like BLS, ACLS, and ATLS; PALS and CALS preferred.
- Applicants must be licensed or pursuing licensure in WI, pass pre-employment screenings, and relocate before starting.
Salary starts at $280,000/year.
