Overview

Assistant Professor | Department of Pediatrics | Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. The Division of Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW) seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at Children s Wisconsin hospital campus. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

• Board-certified/board-eligible in General Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Hospital Medicine
• Fellowship or advanced training preferred
• Obtain an unrestricted Wisconsin medical license
• Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.

• 1,800 annual hours for day shifts; 1,440 annual hours for night shifts
• Approximately 15 weeks of service per year
• 90% clinical duties, 10% protected time
• Additional team support during peak seasons
• Admitting attending coverage Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts
• Salaried (Exempt)

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
• State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin
• Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist
